Our Story

In Tibetan spiritual tradition, the Wind Horse, known as Lungta, is a sacred and mythical being. It is believed to ride upon the wind, carrying prayers, intentions, and blessings from the human world to the heavens — and returning harmony, strength, and good fortune back to the Earth.

The Wind Horse represents movement, life force, and the unseen connection between sound, spirit, and space. Windhorse Instruments was created in devotion to this ancient wisdom.

For centuries, traditional Eastern Tibetan musical instruments have served a purpose far deeper than music alone. They have been used in meditation, ritual, healing, and prayer, where sound is understood as a living vibration.
